This medicine is the precursor of coenzyme A (CoA). It exhibits the following effects: lowering serum total cholesterol/neutral fat, increasing serum HDL-cholesterol, stimulating fatty acid oxidation, enhancing cholesterol metabolism in blood vessel wall, improving platelet count and enhancing bowel motility.
It is usually used to prevent and to treat pantothenic acid deficiency and associated symptoms such as hyperlipidemia, atonic constipation, eczema, blood disease and adverse reactions of streptomycin/kanamycin.

Usage/Dosage

In general, for adults, take 30 to 180 mg of the active ingredient in 1 to 3 divided doses a day.
Blood disease and atonic constipation: In general, for adults, take 300 to 600 mg of the active ingredient in 1 to 3 divided doses a day.
Hyperlipidemia: In general, for adults, take 3 tablets (600 mg of the active ingredient) in 3 divided doses a day.
In any case, the dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. This preparation contains 200 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
