      TSUMURA Daibofuto Extract Granules (hereafter TJ-97) is indicated for the relief of the following symptoms of those pa-tients who have swollen, painful, paralyzed, and stiff joints that are hard to bend or stretch:Articular rheumatism of the lower limbs, chronic arthritis, and gout

      10.5 g(3sachets for 1day) of TSUMURA Daibofuto extract granules contains 8.0 g of a dried extract of the following mixed crude drugs.JP Astragalus Root 3.0gJP Rehmannia Root 3.0gJP Peony Root 3.0gJP Atractylodes Lancea Rhizome 3.0gJP Japanese Angelica Root 3.0gJP Eucommia Bark 3.0gJP Saposhnikovia Root 3.0gJP Cnidium Rhizome 2.0gJP Glycyrrhiza 1.5gJP Notopterygium 1.5gJP Achyranthes Root 1.5gJP Jujube 1.5gJP Ginseng 1.5gJP Processed Ginger 1.0gJP Powdered Processed Aconite Root 1.0g(JP: The Japanese Pharmacopoeia)
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 10.5 g a day orally in 2 or 3 divided doses with cold or lukewarm water before or between meals. The dosage may be adjusted according to your age, body weight and symptoms. Strictly follow your instructions.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if the next dose is within two hours, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. You should not take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, hives, loss of appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, palpitations, rush of blood to the head and numbness of the tongue. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      decreased urine output, edema of face and limbs, heavy feeling in the eyelids, hand stiffness [pseudoaldosteronism]
      body dullness, weakness, cramp and numbness of limbs [myopathy]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
