      This medicine suppress DNA replication and growth of herpes simplex virus by exerting anti-virus effect.It is usually used for treatment of corneal inflammation caused by herpes simplex virus.

      This medicine suppresses the growth of viruses by inhibiting replication of the viral DNA.
      It is usually used to treat herpes simplex.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, apply an appropriate amount of this medicine several times a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
      Pay attention so that this medicine does not get in your eyes.
      When using this medicine for genital herpes, pay attention not to apply this medicine to mucosal areas such as inside the vagina. You may experience irritation.
      If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and then apply the next dose as instructed.
      If you accidentally apply more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      This medicine may degrade or damage contraceptive products made of latex rubber, such as condoms. Avoid contact with such products.

      Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include feeling of stimulation, itch, contact dermatitis and erythematous rash. If any of these symptoms occurs, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
