This medicine prevents water-soluble protein of the eye's lens (crystal lens) from degeneration and being opaque in order to slow the progress of cataract.It is usually used to slow the progress of early senile cataract.

This medicine competitively inhibits quinone compound binding to water-soluble protein of the lens and prevents the lens protein degeneration in order to suppress the lens to become cloudy.
It is usually used to slow the progression of early senile cataract.
General dosage regimen: Shake the bottle well, and apply 1-2 drops at a time, 3-5 times a day. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
Before using, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Next, shake the bottle well and open the cap. Then, pull down your lower eyelid so that the dropper tip does not touch eye or eyelashes.
After dropping the solution into your eye, do not blink, and keep your eyes closed for a while. Wipe off any excess liquid with a clean gauze or tissue. If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, wait more than 5 minutes.
Apply as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular applying schedule. DO NOT use double doses to make up for the missed dose.
If you used too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
Do not stop using the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: blepharitis (erosion of eyelids), contact dermatitis, keratitis superficialis diffusa (eye pain, vision disorder, foreign body sensation in eyes), bloodshot/conjunctivitis/stinging/itchy eyes/blurred vision/eye mucus/tearing,etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets.
If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
