  • Description
      This medicine suppresses the action of chemical messenger such as histamine which causes allergic symptoms and shows anti-allergic action.
      It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, hives, eczema/dermatitis, pruritus cutaneous, prurigo and itchy plaque psoriasis. This medicine is not designed to rapidly alleviate already occurring asthma attacks or symptoms.

  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine suppresses the action of chemical messenger such as histamine which causes allergic symptoms and shows anti-allergic action.
      It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, hives, eczema/dermatitis, pruritus cutaneous, prurigo and itchy plaque psoriasis. This medicine is not designed to rapidly alleviate already occurring asthma attacks or symptoms.
  • Usage/Dosage
      For bronchial asthma, hives, eczema/dermatitis, pruritus cutaneous, prurigo and itchy plaque psoriasis: In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (20 mg of the active ingredient) at a time once a day.
      For allergic rhinitis: In general, for adults, take 1 to 2 tablets (10 to 20 mg of the active ingredient) at a time once a day.
      In any case the dosage may be adjusted according to your disease, age and symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
      If you are a patient with hepatic dysfunction or have a history of it.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      This medicine may cause drowsiness. Avoid performing dangerous operations such as driving a car.
      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include drowsiness, dullness, headache, dry mouth, gastric distress, nausea, stomachache, swelling (swelling of face/limbs), rash, hives, itch, erythema and frequent urination. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

      general dullness, loss of appetite, yellowing of skin/whites of eyes[hepatic dysfunction, jaundice]
      nose/gum bleeding, subcutaneous bleeding in limbs (bruise)[thrombopenia]
