  • Description
      This medicine acts on neurotransmitter such as dopamine and serotonin in the brain to improve decrease of motivation and spontaneity caused by cerebral infarction sequelae. It increases neurotransmission of dopamine in the brain to relieve symptoms of parkinsonian syndrome (tremoring limbs, etc.). It also inhibits process of influenza A virus invading into human cells and prevents proliferation of the virus.
      It is usually used to treat parkinsonia syndrome, improve decrease of motivation and spontaneity caused by cerebral infarction sequelae and treat influenza A virus infection.

  • Effect/Efficacy

  • Usage/Dosage
      Parkinsonian syndrome : In general, for adults, initially take 100 mg of the active ingredient a day, in 1 to 2 divided doses, as the initial dose. After 1 week, take 1 tablet (100 mg) at a time, twice a day, as maintenance dose. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient. DO NOT exceed the maximum dosage, 1 tablet (100 mg) at a time, 3 times a day.
      Cerebral infarction sequelae : In general, for adults, take 100 to 150 mg of the active ingredient a day, in 2 to 3 divided doses. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient.
      Influenza A virus infection : In general, for adults, take 100 mg of the active ingredient a day, in 1 to 2 divided doses. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient. For elderly and the patient with renal disorder, DO NOT exceed the daily maximum dosage, 1 tablet (100 mg).
      This preparation contains 100 mg of the active ingredient. Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
      If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so. Sudden withdrawal may cause exacerbations of Parkinson's disease or high fever, etc.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you have epilepsy and a history of it, convulsive predisposition or renal disorder needing dialysis.
      If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

      This medicine may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, dizziness on standing up, blurred vision, etc. Avoid operating in potentially hazardous activities such as driving a car and working at heights.
      It has been reported that psychoneurotic symptoms including abnormal behavior occurred after taking this medicine, although its relationship to the medicine is unknown. If a child or minor patient is treated at home, the guardians should be careful not to leave them alone at least for 2 days.

      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include sleep disorder, constipation, loss of appetite, nausea/vomiting, dry mouth, dizziness and dizziness on standing up. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      high fever, consciousness disorder, muscle stiffness [malignant syndrome]
      high fever, bloodshot eyes, erythema [toxic epidermal necrolysis, mucocutaneous-ocular syndrome]
      irritation in the eyes, sensitive to light, foggy vision [diffuse superficial keratitis with reduced vision, corneal edema-like symptoms]
      respiratory distress, leg edema, fatigability [heart failure]
      general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes [liver dysfunction]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
