This medicine expands blood vessels by blocking the calcium channel and decreases in blood pressure. It also expands blood vessels of heart to improve or prevent chest pain.
It is usually used to treat hypertension, renal parenchymal hypertension and angina pectoris.

Usage/Dosage
-
For hypertension and renal parenchymal hypertension: In general, for adults, take 2 to 4 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day after breakfast. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. If its effect is insufficient, the dosage may be increased up to 2 tablets (8 mg of the active ingredient), once a day. For severe hypertension, take 1 to 2 tablets (4 to 8 mg) at a time, once a day after breakfast.
For angina pectoris: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (4 mg) at a time, twice a day after breakfast/dinner. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms.
This preparation contains 4 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. In any case, strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
If you have cardiogenic shock.
If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
This medicine may cause dizziness or light headedness due to decreased blood pressure. Be aware of working at heights or operating dangerous machinery such as driving a car.
Do not take grapefruit juice with this medicine, since it may intensify the therapeutic effects of this medicine.
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them. Ask your pharmacy or medical institution on how to discard the remainder.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include palpitation, flushing of the face, headache, rash, itch, photosensitivity and gynecomastia. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowness in skin or in conjunctiva[liver dysfunction, jaundice]
