  • Description
This medicine has actions similar to "vasopressin", an antidiuretic hormone to control urine volume, secreted from the pituitary gland in the brain. It is a tablet which promotes reabsorption of water in renal tubules of the kidney to concentrate urine and consequently prevents nocturnal enuresis (bed-wetting) associated with secretion defect of vasopressin during the night.
It is usually used in the treatment of nocturnal enuresis caused by decreased urine osmolarity or decreased specific gravity of urine.
