This medicine suppresses activity of dopamine in the stomach and duodenum to improve gastrointestinal motility and acts on CTZ (chemoreceptor trigger zone) involved in causing nausea to suppress symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, etc.
It is usually used to treat gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, bloating, abdominal pain, etc.) caused by chronic gastritis or gastroptosis for adults, cyclic vomiting syndrome or upper respiratory tract infection for children and drug administration.

Usage/Dosage

Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is (( to be written by a healthcare professional))
Adults: In general, take 1 tablet (10 mg of active ingredient) at a time 3 times a day before meals. If you take levodopa agent, take 5 to 10 mg at a time 3 times a day before meals. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age and symptoms of the patient.
Children: In general, take 1 to 2 mg of the active ingredient per kg of body weight (mg/kg) a day, in 3 divided doses before meals. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age, weight and symptoms of the patient. DO NOT exceed the daily maximum dosage, 3 tablets (30 mg). For patients aged 6 years old or over, do not exceed the daily maximum dosage, 1 mg/kg.
This preparation contains 10 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

The following patients may need to be careful when using this medicine.
Be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist.
If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
If you have gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical ileus, gastrointestinal perforation or prolactin-secreting pituitary tumor (prolactinoma).
If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
This medicine may cause sleepiness, dizziness/lightheadedness. Be aware of operating in potentially hazardous activities such as driving a car.
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them.

Contraindication
-
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include diarrhea, sleepiness, rash and gynecomastia. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
・rash, redness, respiratory distress[shock, anaphylactoid symptoms]
・muscular stiffness, tremoring limbs, stiffness[extrapyramidal symptom]
・decreased consciousness, sudden onset of muscular contraction[disturbance of consciousness, convulsion]
・general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes[liver dysfunction, jaundice]
