This medicine acts on upper digestive tracts (esophagus, stomach, duodenum) to promote gastrointestinal motility. It consequently acts on dopamine receptors in CTZ (chemoreceptor trigger zone) of brain involved in causing nausea to suppress nausea.
It is usually used to improve gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal bloating and abdominal pain) due to periodic vomiting, infantile diarrhea, upper respiratory tract infection and medication use in children.

Usage/Dosage

In general, for children under 3 years old, insert 1 suppository (10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, and for children 3 years or older, insert 3 suppositories (30 mg) at a time, into the rectum 2 to 3 times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age, body weight or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, use the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never use two doses at one time.
If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
If you have gastrointestinal bleeding, mechanical ileus, gastrointestinal perforation, prolactinoma, liver disorder or renal disorder.
If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
This medicine may cause sleepiness and dizziness/light-headedness. Pay attention when performing dangerous operations such as operating machinery.
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include liver dysfunction (e.g. general malaise, loss of appetite, jaundice), gynecomastia, diarrhea, abdominal pain, palpitation, rash, sweating and sleepiness. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
rash, respiratory distress, facial edema[shock, anaphylaxis]
twist or cramp in neck, upward rotation of eyes, tremor or muscle stiffness of limbs[extrapyramidal symptoms]
decreased consciousness, impaired mind, sudden muscle contraction[consciousness disorder, convulsion]
