  • Description
      This medicine dilates coronary vessels of the heart and suppresses blood coagulation/reduces urine protein by controlling the action of platelets.
      It is usually used to treat angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, ischemic heart diseases and congestive heart failure. It is also used to suppress thrombus/embolus after heart valve replacement and to reduce urine protein in nephrotic syndrome.

  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine dilates coronary vessels of the heart and suppresses blood coagulation/reduces urine protein by controlling the action of platelets.
      It is usually used to treat angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, ischemic heart diseases and congestive heart failure. It is also used to suppress thrombus/embolus after heart valve replacement and to reduce urine protein in nephrotic syndrome.
  • Usage/Dosage
      For angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, other ischemic heart diseases and congestive heart failure: In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (25 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day.
      For suppression of thrombus/embolus: In general, for adults, take 12 to 16 tablets (300 to 400 mg of the active ingredient) a day, in 3 to 4 divided doses.
      For reducing urine protein: In general, for adults, take 4 tablets (100 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day.
      In any case, the dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
      If you have hypotension or coronary artery disease.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, hives, headache, nausea, cardiac palpitation (palpitation) and abdominal pain. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

      chest pain, pressured feeling, cold sweat[worsening of angina symptoms]
      black dots and insect-like objects seen in the visual field, black stool, headache[bleeding tendency]
      nose bleeding, gum bleeding, subcutaneous bleeding[decreased platelets]
      bronchospasm (sudden shortness of breath), angioedema (swelling of eyelids/lips/tongue), rash[hypersensitivity]
