Effect/Efficacy

● To increases bile secretion and thereby improves the bile flow.
● To replace hydrophobic bile acids in the liver, resulting in alleviation of hepatotoxicity.
● To inhibit cytokine/chemokine production and the infiltration of inflammatory cells into the liver, leading to improvement of liver dysfunction.
● To provides dissolution of gallstones and improvement of digestion and absorption.

Usage/Dosage

● General dosage:
For treatment of liver disease and improvement of liver function and dyspepsia:
- In general, for adults, take 1/2 tablet (50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day.
- It should be adjusted according to your disease, age and symptom.
For dissolution of gallstones:
- In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (200 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day.
- It should be adjusted according to your age and symptom.
For improvement of liver function in primary biliary cirrhosis and chronic liver disease due to hepatitis C virus:
- In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (200 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day.
- It should be adjusted according to your disease age and symptom.
● The maximum daily dosage should be within 9 tablets (900 mg). Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
● If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
● If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
● Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Contraindication

● The most commonly reported adverse reactions are following symptoms. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
- diarrhea, constipation, nausea, itching, urticaria, rash and erythema.
● The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
- fever, dry cough, respiratory distress [interstitial pneumonia]
