It is usually used in the treatment of cerebrovascular disorder, spastic spinal paralysis, and spastic paralysis attributed to other cerebral disorders.

Usage/Dosage

In general for adults, initially take 1 to 3 tablets (5to15 mg of the active ingredient) daily, in 1 to 3 divided doses, after meals. Then the daily dose is increased by 1 to 2 tablets (5to10 mg) every 2 or 3 days to the standard dose appropriately for the symptoms. The standard daily dose is 6 tablets (30 mg), however, it may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms since response to the medicine differs among patients.
In general for children, initially take 1 tablet (5 mg of the active ingredient) daily, in 1 to 2 divided doses, after meals. Then the daily dose is increased by 1 tablet (5 mg) every 2 or 3 days to the standard dose appropriately for the symptoms, however, it may be adjusted according to the symptoms or body weight. The standard daily dose is 1 to 3 tablets (5to15 mg) for children aged 4 to 6 years; 1 to 4 tablets (5to20 mg) for those aged 7 to 11 years; 1 to 5 tablets (5to25 mg) for those aged 12 to 15 years. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist in any case.
If you miss a dose ,give a dose as soon as possible . However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
If you took too much of the medicine (more than prescribed), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor. Visual hallucination, confusion, excited state, and convulsive seizure caused by sudden withdrawal of the medicine in long-term use have been reported.

Cautions

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
The medicine may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving a car or operating dangerous machinery after taking the medicine. Drinking alcohol and medicine together has suppressive effect on central nerves
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Do not store the remainder and ask your pharmacist how to discard it.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reaction include drowsiness, blood pressure decreased, nausea, anorexia, feeling of weakness, lightheadedness, rash, etc. If any of these symptoms occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist:
