  • Description
      This medicine is cephem antibiotic agent. It inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall to show the bactericidal effects.
      It is usually used to treat wide-range infections such as skin infections, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, otological infections and dental infections.
  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine is cephem antibiotic agent. It inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall to show the bactericidal effects.
      It is usually used to treat wide-range infections such as skin infections, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, otological infections and dental infections.
  • Usage/Dosage
      For children: In general, take 0.03 g [3 mg (titer) of the active ingredient] per kilogram of body weight at a time, 3 times a day after meals.
      For adults (patients who cannot take tablets due to swallowing difficulty): In general, take 1 g [100 mg (titer) of the active ingredient] at a time, 3 times a day after meals. If the symptoms are severe or the effect is insufficient, take 2 g [200 mg (titer)] at a time, 3 times a day after meals.
      The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age and symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions. This preparation contains 100 mg (titer) of the active ingredient per gram.
      Do not open the individual package until the time of your medication to avoid exposure to humidity.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
      If you are or any of your parents/siblings is prone to allergic symptoms such as bronchial asthma/rash/hives.
      If you have renal disorder.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from light, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include diarrhea, loose stool, nausea, gastric discomfort, rash, hives, erythema, itch, fever, swelling of lymph nodes and joint pain. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

      feeling unwell, abnormal feeling in mouth, dizziness[shock, anaphylactoid symptoms]
      fever, frequent diarrhea, abdominal pain [serious colitis with bloody stool such as pseudomembranous colitis]
      fever, erythema with edema in the center, bloodshot eyes[oculomucocutaneous syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis]
      fever, dry cough, respiratory distress[interstitial pneumonia, PIE syndrome]
      general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of skin and conjunctiva[hepatic dysfunction]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
