It is usually used to treat hypertension.

Usage/Dosage
-
In general, for adults, take 40 mg of the active ingredient at a time, once a day. However, the initial dose will start will with 20 mg at a time and gradually increased. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age and symptoms of the patient, but the maximum daily dose is 1 tablet (80 mg). For patients with liver disorder, the maximum daily dose is 40 mg at a time.
This preparation contains 80 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions.
As this medicine is affected by foods, always take the medicine at regular dosing schedule, that is, before every meal or after every meal.
If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
If you have poor bile secretion or liver disorder.

This medicine may cause dizziness/light headedness due to its hypotensive action. Pay close attention to operate in potentially hazardous activities such as driving a car and working at heights.
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include itch, rash, hives, erythema, dizziness, light headedness, headache and hypotension. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
swelling of face/lip/pharynx/larynx/tongue, hives[angioedema]
numbness of limbs/lip, muscle weakness, paralysis of limbs[hyperkalemia]
decreased urine output, edema, general malaise[renal dysfunction]
coldness, vomiting, loss of consciousness[shock, faint, loss of consciousness]
general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the white of eyes[liver dysfunction, jaundice]
