Description

This medicine has anticholinergic effects, and its action on autonomic nerve inhibits smooth muscle contraction and eases the cramp-like pain in the gastrointestinal tract and uterus.
It is usually used to kill the cramp-like pain of gastric/duodenal ulcer, gastritis, enteritis, gallstones, cholecystitis and biliary tract dyskinesia and to improve some symptoms in threatened miscarriage/premature delivery.

Active Ingredients

Piperidolate hydrochloride 50mg

Inactive ingredients: Lactose hydrate, crystalline cellulose, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium oxide, silicone resin

Effect/Efficacy

Convulsive pain in the following diseases:
Gastroduodenal ulcer, gastritis, enteritis, cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, and biliary dyskinesia.
Improvement in various symptoms in threatened abortion or premature delivery

Usage/Dosage

General dosage regimen: For adults, take 3-4 tablets (150-200mg of the active ingredient) daily, in 3-4 divided doses. Dosage may be adjusted according to your disease/age/symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
If you missed a dose, take a dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
If you took too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Cautions

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are a patient with: glaucoma, urination disorder due to prostate enlargement, disorders in heart, paralytic ileus.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

This medicine may cause mydriasis (difficult to see to dilate pupil) and dizziness; do not drive a car or operate dangerous machinery when you are taking this medicine.

Careful Administration (This product should be administered with case in the following patients)
1. Patients with prostatic hyperplasia (This product may induce dysuria)
2. Patients with congestive heart failure (Symptoms may be exacerbated)
3. Patients with arrhythmia (Symptoms may be exacerbated)
4. Patients with ulcerative colitis (Toxic megacolon may occur)
5. Patients with hyperthyroidism (Symptoms may be exacerbated)
6. Patients in a high-temperature environment (Body temperature may increase due to decreased sweating)

Contraindication

Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: mydriasis, thirst, constipation, urination disorder, palpitation, rash, fatigue, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
fatigue, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin/eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]
The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.

This product is contraindicated in the following patients
1. Patients with glaucoma (Administration of this product may increase intraocular pressure)
2. Patients with dysuria due to prostatic hyperplasia
3. Patients with serious cardiac disease
4. Patients with paralytic ileus
5. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this product
