  • Description
      This medicine is effective for easing inflammation and pain (anti-inflammatory and analgesic action) by suppressing production of prostaglandin (a substance to cause inflammation and to enhance pain).
      It is usually used for anti-inflammation and analgesia in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, low back pain, cervico-omo-brachial syndrome, shoulder periarthritis, and after a surgery, an injury, and tooth removal.

  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine is effective for easing inflammation and pain (anti-inflammatory and analgesic action) by suppressing production of prostaglandin (a substance to cause inflammation and to enhance pain).
      It is usually used for anti-inflammation and analgesia in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, low back pain, cervico-omo-brachial syndrome, shoulder periarthritis, and after a surgery, an injury, and tooth removal.
  • Usage/Dosage
      General dosage regimen:
      For rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, low back pain, cervico-omo-brachial syndrome, shoulder periarthritis, for adults, take 1 tablet (4 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, three times daily, after meal. The dosage may be adjusted according to the diseases, age or symptoms, however, the daily dosage is limited to 18 mg. This preparation contains 4 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
      After a surgery, an injury, and tooth removal, for adults, take 2 tablets (8 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, when you have pain. However, the dosage is limited to 2 tablets (8 mg) at a time, 6 tablets (24 mg) daily, and administration period should not be longer than 3 days. Avoid taking the medicine on an empty stomach. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
      Take a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed a dose. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take double doses to make up for the missed dose.
      If you took too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
  • Cautions
      If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
      If you are a patient with peptic ulcer, blood abnormality, hepatic disorder, renal disorder, heart dysfunction, hypertension, bronchial asthma, ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.
      If you are a patient with aspirin-induced asthma, or a history of aspirin-induced asthma.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Store it away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Do not store the remainder and ask your pharmacist how to discard it.
  • Contraindication
      Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: abdominal pain, abdominal discomfort, nausea, gastritis, hepatic dysfunction, rash, swelling, etc.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      abdominal pain, vomiting, hematemesis, melena [peptic ulcer, intestinal or colonic ulcer]
      urticaria, swelling around eyes or lips, breathing difficulty [shock, anaphylaxis]
      redness in the skin, enanthema with pain, bulbar conjunctival congestion [Stevens-Johnson syndrome]
      edema, decreased urine output, bloody urine [acute renal failure]
      general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing in the skin or conjunctiva [fulminant hepatitis, hepatic dysfunction, jaundice]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
