      This medicine has antibacterial action by inhibiting the protein synthesis of pathogenic bacteria.
      It is usually used to treat a wide range of infections such as skin infection, respiratory tract infection and otolaryngological infection.

      This medicine has antibacterial action by inhibiting the protein synthesis of pathogenic bacteria.
      It is usually used to treat a wide range of infections such as skin infection, respiratory tract infection and otolaryngological infection.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 6 to 8 capsules [1.5 to 2 g (titer) of the active ingredient] in 3 to 4 divided doses per day. For children, take 20 to 30 mg (titer)/kg [20 to 30 mg (titer) per 1 kilogram of body weight], in 3 to 4 divided doses per day. The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
      Take it with a glass of water or milk and avoid taking just before going to bed. (Esophageal retention of this medicine for a long time may cause ulcer.)
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you have: a history of colitis, liver disorder or its history, renal disorder, bronchial asthma, a history of allergy, passing failure of the esophagus or myasthenia gravis.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      Keep out of reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, itch, edema, angioneurotic edema, serum sickness (hives, fever, pain in the joint), stomatitis and candidiasis. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      respiratory distress, generalized hot flash, hives [shock]
      abdominal pain, frequent diarrhea with mucus/bloody stool, fever [serious colitis with bloody stool such as pseudomembranous colitis]
      high fever, redness of the skin, stomatitis [Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, exfoliative dermatitis]
      sore throat/headache, fever, nose/gum/subcutaneous bleeding [agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia, pancytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
