This medicine dilates the peripheral artery and suppresses platelet aggregation to relieve symptoms such as numbness/pain in limbs and coldness. It also relieves leg numbness/pain caused by lumbar spinal stenosis and improves walking ability.
It is usually used for the improvement of ischemic symptoms such as ulcer, pain and coldness caused by thromboangiitis obliterans. It is also used for the improvement of subjective symptoms such as leg pain/numbness and walking ability caused by acquired lumber spinal stenosis. ( Patients who are proved normal in SLR test and have bilateral intermittent claudication.)

Usage/Dosage

● General dosage:
Thromboangiitis obliterans:
- In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (10μg of Limaprost) at a time, 3 times a day.
Acquired lumbar spinal stenosis:
- In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (5μg of Limaprost) at a time, 3 times a day.
● Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
● If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
● If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
● Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Contraindication

● The most commonly reported adverse reactions are following symptoms. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
- rash, itch, hives, photosensitivity, bleeding and diarrhea.
● The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
- general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]
