      Pariet Tablet 10mg suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting proton pump in the gastric mucosa, and enhances the effects of the antibiotics (Sawacillin Tablets 250 and Clarith Tablets 200). Sawacillin Tablets 250 and Clarith Tablets 200 show antibacterial actions against Helicobacter pylori.
      It is usually used to treat gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastric MALT lymphoma, idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, Helicobacter pylori infection after endoscopic therapy for early-stage gastric cancer or Helicobacter pylori gastritis.

  • Effect/Efficacy
      Pariet Tablet 10mg suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting proton pump in the gastric mucosa, and enhances the effects of the antibiotics (Sawacillin Tablets 250 and Clarith Tablets 200). Sawacillin Tablets 250 and Clarith Tablets 200 show antibacterial actions against Helicobacter pylori.

  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 1 tablet of Pariet Tablets 10mg (10 mg of rabeprazole sodium), 3 tablets of Sawacillin Tablets 250 (750 mg [titer] of amoxicillin hydrate) and 1 tablet of Clarith Tablets 200 (200 mg [titer] of clarithromycin) at a time, twice a day for 7 days.
      Strictly follow the instructions.
      Swallow the medicine without chewing or crushing.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you have infectious mononucleosis, renal/hepatic disorder or heart disease.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, hives, diarrhea, loose stool, taste abnormality, stomachache, abdominal bloating, nausea, vomiting, constipation, glossitis, stomach discomfort, loss of appetite, flatulence/flatus, headache, fever, hallucination, disorientation, disturbance of consciousness, delirium, mania, tremor, numbness (feeling of numbness), ear ringing, hearing impairment, olfactory disorder, oral erosion, tooth discoloration, muscle pain, candidiasis, palpitation and itch. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      feeling unwell, sweating, breathing difficulty, rash, swelling of face, convulsion [shock, anaphylaxis]
      dullness, fever, shortness of breath, nose/subcutaneous bleeding, reddish brown urine [pancytopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, granulocytopenia, leukopenia]
      yellowness in the skin or whites of the eyes, dullness, loss of appetite [fulminant hepatitis, hepatic function disorder, jaundice, hepatic failure]
      fever, dry cough, shortness of breath [interstitial pneumonia, eosinophilic pneumonia, PIE syndrome]
      fever, general malaise, rash/redness in the skin/eyes/mouth [toxic epidermal necrolysis, mucocutaneous ocular syndrome, erythema multiforme, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, erythroderma]
      decreased urine output, swelling of face/limbs, fever [acute renal failure, interstitial nephritis]
      nausea/vomiting, convulsion, headache, disturbance of consciousness [hyponatremia]
      weakness, muscle pain, brown urine [rhabdomyolysis]
      stomachache, frequent diarrhea, bloody stool [colitis]
      chest pain, palpitation, chest discomfort [QT prolongation, ventricular tachycardia (including torsade de pointes), ventricular fibrillation]
      purpura [allergic purpura]
      rash, fever [drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome]
      stiffness in the neck, fever, headache, nausea/vomiting [aseptic meningitis]
