This medicine stimulates large intestine and prompts peristaltic movement of the large intestine to promote defecation.
It is usually used to treat constipation.

Usage/Dosage
-
In general, for adults, take 80 mg at a time, once a day before bedtime. In severe case of constipation, take 160 to 240 mg at a time as needed. In continuous use, take 40 to 80 mg at a time, 3 times a day, after meals. For children (6 to 12 years old), take 40 mg at a time, once a day before bedtime. This preparation contains 80 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you are suspected of acute abdomen.
If you have spastic constipation, hardened feces or electrolyte imbalance (especially hypokalemia).
If you have a recent history of abdominal surgery.
If you are pregnant, possibly pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
This medicine may change your urine color to yellowish brown or red.
Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them.

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, borborygmus and rash. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
