      This medicine improves symptoms of cough, sputum sticking sensation and breathing difficulty caused by bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema by dilating bronchi.
      It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine improves symptoms of cough, sputum sticking sensation and breathing difficulty caused by bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema by dilating bronchi.
      It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (400 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day after dinner. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age and symptoms of the patient. Strictly follow the instructions.
      Do not chew as it is a sustained-release preparation. Swallow the medicine with water.
      For children and especially infants, when taken on a feverish condition, blood concentration will increase and side effects can easily occur. If this happens, the dosage may need to be reduced or discontinued.
      Parents/guardian should observe the children's condition. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist immediately if any abnormality or fever occurs.
      If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible when you remembered that you missed a dose by bedtime. This medicine may cause a sore stomach on an empty stomach. Otherwise (when you remembered that you missed a dose at the time of awakening, etc.), skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      High intake of drinks containing caffeine (coffee and tea) may cause side effects.
      Do not intake foods containing Saint John's wort as it may weaken the effect of this medicine.
      Smoking and cessation of smoking may affect the efficacy of this medicine.
      White tablet derived from this medicine (tablet shell from which the active ingredient has been released) may be excreted in stool, but it doesn't affect the efficacy of this medicine.
      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them. Ask the pharmacist or medical facility how to discard unneeded medicine.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, headache, dizziness, tremor, insomnia, palpitation, tachycardia, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, abdominal pain, indigestion (heartburn, etc.), abdominal distension, frequent urination and numbness (lips and around the tongue). If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

      convulsion, delirium, coma[convulsion, disturbance of consciousness, acute encephalopathy]
      pain of the limb muscle, lassitude, reddish brown urine[rhabdomyolysis]
      stomachache, melena, blood vomit[gastrointestinal bleeding]
      general malaise, headache, dizziness[pure red cell aplasia]
      respiratory distress, hives, pale face[anaphylactic shock]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
