  • Usage/Dosage
      General dosage regimen:
      [When you take this medicine for improvement of cardiac function]
      Usually for adults, one tablet (25mg of dipyridamole) is orally administered three times daily and the dosage may be adjusted according to the disease to be treated, the patient's age and severity of symptoms. Follow your doctor's instructions.
      [When you take the medicine for suppression of blood clotting]
      Usually for adults, 4 tablets (100mg of dipyridamole) are orally administered three to four times daily and the dosage may be adjusted according to the disease to be treated, the patient's age and severity of symptoms. Follow your doctor's instructions.
      [When you take this medicine for reduction in urinary protein]
      Usually for adults, 4 tablets (100mg of dipyridamole) are orally administered three times daily and the dosage may be adjusted according to the disease to be treated, the patient's age and severity of symptoms. Follow your doctor's instructions.
      If you are ordered to take this medicine on regular schedule and you missed a dose, take as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
      If you took too much of this medicine, check with your doctor/pharmacist immediately.
      Do not stop your medication without the instructions of your doctor.
  • Cautions
      If you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicines.
      If you have hypotension, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, etc. due to cardiovascular disease.
      Make sure your doctor knows if you are already pregnant or are breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from heat and moisture protected from direct sunlight.
      Discard unused medicine.
  • Contraindication
      Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: headache, nausea, heart pounding, abdominal pain, weakness, malaise, rash.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      worsening of chest pain, a sensation of chest pressure, cold sweat, etc. [aggravation of anginal symptoms]
      black points and insect-like object(s) seen in the visual field, black stools, headache, etc. [bleeding tendency (hemorrhage of the eye ground, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, intracerebral hemorrhage, etc.)]
      subcutaneous bleeding, gum bleeding, nasal bleeding, etc. [decrease in platelets]
      sudden attack of breathlessness, wheezing (a whistling noise in breathing), edema in the periphery of the eyes and lips, etc. [hypersensitivity]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
