Description

This medicine blocks calcium inflow into cells and consequently dilates constricted vessels to decrease blood pressure. It also dilates coronary arteries of the heart to prevent developing anginal attacks.
It is usually used to treat hypertension, renal parenchymal hypertension and angina pectoris.

Effect/Efficacy

This medicine blocks calcium inflow into cells and consequently dilates constricted vessels to decrease blood pressure. It also dilates coronary arteries of the heart to prevent developing anginal attacks.
It is usually used to treat hypertension, renal parenchymal hypertension and angina pectoris.

Usage/Dosage

○ General dosage:
  ● Hypertension and renal parenchymal hypertension : for adults, take 1 to 2 tablets (2 to 4mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day, after breakfast. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient. If the effect is insufficient, the dosage may be increased up to 4 tablets (8mg) at a time. In case of severe hypertension, take 2 to 4 tablets (4 to 8mg) at a time, once a day, after breakfast.
  ● Angina pectoris : for adults, take 2 tablets (4mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 2 times a day, after breakfast and dinner. The dosage may be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient.
  ● Strictly follow the instructions in any case.

○ If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
○ If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
○ Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

● The most commonly reported adverse reactions are following symptoms. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  - palpitation, hot flash, headache, rash, itch, photosensitivity and gynecomastia.

● The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  - general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]

● Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
