  • Description
      This medicine acts on the muscarinic receptors in the bladder in an opposing manner to control excessive involuntary bladder contraction, and thus allows the bladder to retain urine.
      It is usually used for the treatment of symptoms associated with overactive bladder such as urgency of urination, urinary frequency, and urge urinary incontinence.
  • Feature

  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine acts on the muscarinic receptors in the bladder in an opposing manner to control excessive involuntary bladder contraction, and thus allows the bladder to retain urine.
      It is usually used for the treatment of symptoms associated with overactive bladder such as urgency of urination, urinary frequency, and urge urinary incontinence.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 2 tablets (5 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once daily. The dosage may be adjusted according to the patient's age and symptoms. However, the maximum daily dose should not exceed 4 tablets (10 mg). Strictly follow the instructions.
      Take the tablet with water or lukewarm water in the same way as you usually take tablets. Since the tablet promptly dissolves in saliva, you may place it on your tongue, push it with your tongue and swallow it together with saliva.
      This medicine contains irritating ingredients. Do not chew the tablet.
      Do not take the tablet without water when you are lying down.
      If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you have urinary retention.
      If you are a patient with glaucoma.
      If you are a patient with gastric/intestinal atony, or myasthenia gravis.
      If you have heart disease or liver disorder.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
      This medicine may cause abnormality of the eyes such as foggy vision, focus disorder or sleep-like state of consciousness. Pay close attention when working at heights, driving a car, etc.
      Keep out of the reach of infants and children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include dry mouth, constipation, etc. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      hives, respiratory distress, decreased blood pressure [shock, anaphylaxis]
      general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes [hepatic function disorder]
      inability to urinate, difficulty to urinate [urinary retention]
      shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness [QT prolongation, ventricular tachycardia, atrioventricular block, sick sinus syndrome, severe bradycardia]
      persistent constipation, abdominal bloating feeling, abdominal pain [paralytic ileus]
      impaired mind, loss of sense of time, place, etc., seeing and hearing things that are not there [hallucinations, delirium]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
