      This medicine shows antimicrobial effects by inhibiting proliferation of bacteria.
      This medicine is a penem antibiotic used to treat infections.
      It is usually used to treat a wide range of infections such as skin, respiratory and otorhinologic infections.
  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine shows antimicrobial effects by inhibiting proliferation of bacteria.

      It is usually used to treat a wide range of infections such as skin, respiratory and otorhinologic infections.
  • Usage/Dosage
      General dosage is as follows.

      ● For pneumonia, lung abscess, bladder inflammation (excluding uncomplicated one), pyelonephritis, prostatitis (acute, chronic), epididymitis (inflammation of the epididymis), otitis media, sinusitis:
       - For adults, take 200 to 300 mg (titer) of the active ingredient at a time, 3 times a day.
      ● For other indications such as skin infection, tonsillitis, intrauterine infection and bronchitis:
       - For adults, take 150 to 200 mg (titer) of the active ingredient at a time, 3 times a day.

      This medicine contains 200 mg (titer) of the active ingredient in a tablet.
      The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should not take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Contraindication
      ● The most commonly reported adverse reactions If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
        - diarrhea, abdominal pain, loose stool, rash, nausea, itch, hives, fever, redness and erythema.

      ● The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
        - cold sweat, feeling unwell, breathing difficulty [shock, anaphylaxis]
        - general malaise, loss of appetite, yellow discoloration of the skin and the white of eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]
        - high fever (38 degrees Celsius and above), bloodshot eyes, lips erosion [toxic epidermal necrolysis, mucocutaneous ocular syndrome]
        - shortness of breath/breathing difficulty when going up stairs or over working, dry cough, fever [interstitial pneumonia]
        - pain in the muscles of the limbs/shoulder/lower back/other regions, numbness of limbs, weakness of limbs [rhabdomyolysis]

      Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
