It is usualy used to treat essential hypertension (mild to moderate), angina and tachyarrhythmia.

Usage/Dosage

In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day.It should be adjusted according to age and symptoms of the patient. DO NOT exceed the daily maximum dosage, 2 tablets (100 mg of the active ingredient), at a time. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you have: diabetic ketoacidosis, metabolic acidosis, bradycardia, atrioventricular block, sinoatrial block, sick sinus syndrome, cardiogenic shock, right heart failure caused by pulmonary hypertension, congestive heart failure, hypotension, peripheral circulatory disorder, untreated phaeochromocytoma.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
This drug may cause dizziness/wobbly walking. Do not drive a car, operate dangerous machinery, or work at heights.
Keep out of reach of children. Store away from heat, humidity and light.
Discard remaining medicine; do not store them.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include bradycardia, dizziness, fatigue, rash, itch, vision disorder, blurred vision and decreased tear fluid. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
fatigue, respiratory distress, body swelling [heart failure, cardiothoracic ratio increased]
bradycardia, disturbed pulse, conscious disorder [infrequent pulse, atrioventricular block, sinoatrial block]
light-headedness, dizziness, syncope (fainting) [orthostatic hypotension with syncope]
shortness of breath, respiratory distress, wheezing [respiratory distress, bronchospasm, wheezing]
bleeding from nose/gum, bruising, subcutaneous bleeding [thrombocytopenia, purpura]
