      Effects of this medicine
      This medicine is a lincosamide that has antiseptic action against infectious gram-positive bacteria (e.g. staphylococci, streptococci, pneumococci).
      Usually, used for various types of infections such as dermal infections, respiratory infections, otolaryngologic infections. Not effective against fungal/virus infections.

      Effects of this medicine
      This medicine is a lincosamide that has antiseptic action against infectious gram-positive bacteria (e.g. staphylococci, streptococci, pneumococci).
      Usually, used for various types of infections such as dermal infections, respiratory infections, otolaryngologic infections. Not effective against fungal/virus infections.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 2 capsules (150 mg [titer] of the active ingredient) once every 6 hours. For patients with severe infections, take 4 capsules (300 mg [titer] ) once every 8 hours. Strictly follow the instructions.
      For children, take 15 mg/kg body weight (titer) of the active ingredient per day and for patients with severe infections, take 20 mg (titer) per day in 3 to 4 divided doses in either case. The dosage may be adjusted according to your age, body weight and symptoms. Each capsule contains 75 mg (titer) of the active ingredient. Strictly follow the instructions.
      Trapping the medicine for a long time in the esophagus may cause ulcer. Take it with a glass of water or milk and avoid taking just before going to bed.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include itch, rash, swelling, stomatitis and candidiasis (sore/itch of external genital and mouth). If any of these symptoms occurs, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      breathing difficulty, flush, hives [shock, anaphylaxis]
      abdominal pain, frequent diarrhea with mucus/bloody stool, fever [severe colitis with bloody stool such as pseudomembranous colitis]
      high fever, rash/blister/peeling of skin, stomatitis [toxic epidermal necrolysis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, exfoliative dermatitis]
      fever, rash, lymph node swelling [drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome]
      throat pain, malaise, fever with chills/tremor [agranulocytosis]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
