      This medicine is a cephem antibiotic agent, and by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, it inhibits bacterial proliferation and shows anti-bacterial effects.
      It is usually used for the treatment of a wide range of infections such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear and nose infections, or urinary tract infections.

  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine is a cephem antibiotic agent, and by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, it inhibits bacterial proliferation and shows anti-bacterial effects.
      It is usually used for the treatment of a wide range of infections such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear and nose infections, or urinary tract infections.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 1 capsule (100mg of the active ingredient [titer]) at a time, three times daily. The dosage may be adjusted depending on your disease, age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
      If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
      If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

      Reddish stool may occur when taking iron-added products, such as powder formula or enteral nutrients concomitantly.
      Reddish urine may occur.

      Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
      Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, hives, itch, fever, edema, erythema, diarrhea, abdominal pain and stomach discomfort. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
      sweat, respiratory distress, swelling of face, tongue, throat [shock, anaphylactoid symptoms]
      fever, erythema, blisters, skin pain, burning sensation of skin [mucocutaneous-ocular syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis]
      sore throat, headache, malaise, purpura [pancytopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia]
      fever, dry cough, shortness of breath [interstitial pneumonia, pulmonary infiltration with eosinophilia (PIE) syndrome]
      general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eye [fulminant hepatitis, hepatic function disorder, jaundice]
      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
