Description
This medicine is cephalosporin antibiotic agent. It inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall to show bactericidal antibacterial effects.
It is usually used to treat various infections in skin/surgical/orothopedic fields, respiratory/urinary tract infections, obestetric/opthalmicl/otolaryngologic/dental/oral surgery fields.

This medicine is cephalosporin antibiotic agent. It inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall to show bactericidal antibacterial effects.
It is usually used to treat various infections in skin/surgical/orothopedic fields, respiratory/urinary tract infections, obestetric/opthalmicl/otolaryngologic/dental/oral surgery fields.
Usage/Dosage
In general, for adults and children over 20 kg of body weight, take 1 capsule [250 mg (titer) of the active ingredient] at a time, every 6 hours. If symptoms are severe, the dosage may be increased to 2 capsules [500 mg (titer)] at a time, every 6 hours. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age, weight and symptoms of the patient. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
Cautions
Contraindication
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, hives, erythema, itch, fever, arthralgia and lymph gland swelling. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
- breathing difficulty, general flushing, swelling around the eyes/lip [shock, anaphylaxis]
- edema, general malaise, decreased or no urine output [acute renal failure]
- lightheadedness, yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes, brown urine [hemolytic anemia]
- high fever, blister, sore mucous membrane of eyes/mouth, generalized flush [toxic epidermal
- necrolysis, mucocutaneous-ocular syndrome]
- fever, dry cough, breathing difficulty [interstitial pneumonia, PIE syndrome]
