  • Description
      This medicine improves subjective symptoms and neurofunctional abnormalities of diabetic peripheral neuropathy by inhibiting aldose reductase and suppressing intraneuronal accumulation of sorbitol.
      It is usually used to treat numbness, pain, abnormal vibratory sensation or abnormal heart rate variability associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
  • Effect/Efficacy
      This medicine improves subjective symptoms and neurofunctional abnormalities of diabetic peripheral neuropathy by inhibiting aldose reductase and suppressing intraneuronal accumulation of sorbitol.
      It is usually used to treat numbness, pain, abnormal vibratory sensation or abnormal heart rate variability associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
  • Usage/Dosage
      In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (50 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day before each meal. The dosage may be adjusted according to the age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
      If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.
      If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
      Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
  • Cautions
      Precautions while taking this medicine:
      While taking this medicine, continue treatment with dietary/exercise therapy, oral hypoglycemic agent and insulin as instructed.
      While taking this medicine, yellowish brown or red discoloration of urine may occur, but this is nothing to worry about.
  • Contraindication
      The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash, itch, erythema, blister, abdominal pain and nausea. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

      The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

      nose bleeding, gum bleeding, subcutaneous bleeding in limbs[decreased platelets]
      general malaise, loss of appetite, yellow discoloration of the skin and the white of eyes[fulminant hepatitis, liver dysfunction, jaundice, liver failure]

      The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
