This medicine suppresses release of allergenic substances such as histamine.
It is usually used to treat bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis. However, it is not intended to immediately reduce attacks or symptoms that have already started.

Usage/Dosage

For bronchial asthma: In general, for adults and children 11 years old or above, take 10 mg of the active ingredient (1 tablet) at a time, twice a day after breakfast and after dinner (or before bedtime). For children between 5 and 10 years old, take 5 mg at a time, twice a day after breakfast and after dinner (or before bedtime).
For allergic rhinitis: For adults, take 5 mg of the active ingredient at a time, twice a day, after breakfast and after dinner (or before bedtime).
In any case, the dosage may be adjusted according to age or symptoms. This preparation contains 10 mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Cautions

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.

Contraindication

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include abdominal pain, sleepiness, nausea, rash, itch, hives, edema (face or limbs), facial flushing and symptoms of bladder inflammation such as frequent urination or bloody urine. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
