This medicine shows antibacterial action by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication.
It is usually used to treat blepharitis, dacryoadenitis, hordeolum, conjunctivitis, inflammation of the tarsal gland, keratitis, or to prevent infection before/after ophthalmic surgery.

Usage/Dosage
-
For ocular infection such as conjunctivitis and hordeolum: In general, apply 1 drop at a time, 3 times a day.
The dosage may be adjusted according to the disease or symptoms.
Before/after ophthalmic surgery: In general, apply 1 drop at a time, 5 times a day before surgery.
Strictly follow the instructions in any case.
Before applying eye-drops, wash your hands thoroughly. Pull down your lower eye-lid, avoid touching the dropper tip against the eye.
If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, take more than 5 minutes intervals between medicines.
If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should not apply two doses at one time.
If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you wear contact lenses.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include eye pain (eye-smarting), taste abnormality (bitter taste), red eyes and eye irritation. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
erythematous patch, rash, dyspnea, blood pressure reductions [shock, anaphylactoid symptoms]

Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. Store at room temperature (1 to 30 degrees Celsius) in a storage bag.
Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
